Recaro Seats XC Fish Nets
This is a great example of some work produced in-house and a favoured project to work on. The challenge behind these seats was going from the super stretchy pineapple pattern cloth to the suede which had no stretch. Many alterations had to be made in order for the covers to fit like a glove. The end result produced a favourable responce from the owner of these seats.
These Sparco seats were being re-trimmed for a track car. The original design of the seat was maintained with a modifercation made to the cushion cover. Rather than the use of the original ripple grain suede insert, we used plain black suede. We replaced the side wing patches that were originally grained suede with semi perferated leather. These seats came up looking fantastic and were a pleasure to work on.
Digital Harley Seat
Take a humble Harley seat and go Digital! This seat inparticular came up looking sensational with black suede insert with red stitching. The black vinyl, top stitched boarder finishes off the seat, achoring the bold sharp look that we were after. We were happy to use the services at Digital Inserts, who took care in the CNC stitching that was applied to the suede insert. This Mack 3 Austin Healey was tastefully trimmed in black Caledonia leather which is popular for its smooth texture and rich scent. The carpets where patterned out and hand crafted to fit around every curve of the tunnel and was made complete with charcoal binding. The fuel system was removed from the boot so that detail could be put into each corner. Using a stretch carpet for the sides, this boot carpet was finished with a bound floor carpet that fits snug between the wheel arches.
A lot of fine detail has been put into this Datsun 240Z. Starting with a shell and some plastics, black vinyl and pacific blue stitching was used to tastefully create a custom interior. Black custom carpets were made up and bound with black binding finishing flush with door seals. In order that the carpets do not roll back away from the door seals, a strip of spun bonded polyester was sewn onto the carpet and fit under the seal. Every detail was thought out and patience was applied to get the desired result.
Ford 'A' Model
Extensive work was undertaken on this Model A Ford. When the car came in it was completely bare, there were no existing seat covers or foams but had to be made from scratch. From the foam work to the headlining the owner aimed to create a 1950's hot rod. With the exception to a few mod cons such as Dynomat sound proofing and Mp3 player the owner has achiched what he was after.
Here is an example of a Volvo C70 that has had it's roof replaced due to the glass coming away from the cloth (second and third photo from top left). Inside Cars has been able to offer customers the choise of replaceing their roof with either a factory soft top or a reputable after market soft top.
This Skicraft Senator has been well looked after. But no matter how well a boat or car is looked after, the sun's uv raise will dry out the material and eventually will need replacing. Keeping to the original theme this boat was re-trimmed using Foam white, Haze grey and Pacific blue Calypso vinyl. Calypso vinyl is a marine grade vinyl that is uv stabilised, fire retardent and has an anti fungus treatment.
Inside Cars have heard the same complaints of road and engine noise over and over. Some engine noise being so loud a conversation can't be had between occupants inside the car, while the car is in motion. In a world were people are on the go all the time, we have found that people need their cabin noise reduced to hear their hands free system also. There are options on how we can reduce the noise in your cars cabin to suit all budgets and we take pride in doing it.
The special feature of this Cobra is a bound single piece carpet that runs from the right had foot well, around the back of the seats to the left hand foot well. To finish it off, custom floor mats fit snug to fill out the rest of the foot wells using a charcoal binding to add contrast.
The two piece door trims are leather over carpet with a perforated leather insert and top stitched to finish it off. Neoprene was used to give the leather a full but firm look.
